Still here, not blogging much though. From a trip to the island Ven this summer.

Long Time No C

Actually more than a year, but I am here and not idle, just not dropping by here at all. I upload photographs on Ipernity and then there is Facebook, and I guess there is only so much you can get around doing on the Internet, at least I would rather not spend more time here than I do.

Icelandic on line

We are starting the second term at Tungumálaskólinn - The Language School if translated to English. We are very pleased with the first term and our students seem to be of the same opinion, and that is of course extremely important to us.
To learn Icelandic at Tungumálaskólinn, you only need a computer and to be on line. There are no expensive books you have to buy or costly software. We use Skype and MSN and both can be downloaded from the Internet, free of charge. All the teaching material is on our site.

My Shot on Times Square in New York

I sent this shot in to Kodak's picture of the day, and many months later I got a notice from them, saying that this one had been chosen as Picture of the Day for October 27th. and would appear on their screen on Times Square that day. As luck would have it, my son in law was in New York on that very day and he took these shots for me. The shot is from inside a building in downtown Copenhagen, a house called Axelborg.


Seeing my shot was strange enough, but having my name up there surreal.
